Church Planting at the End of the Twentieth Century

Ten years after the appearance of the firest edition of Church Planting at the End of the Twentieth Century, the principles are still valid, and the need it still as great: America still neeeds more evangelical churches. 

It is still true that:

• only six other nations have a total pupulation of more than 80 million
• more than 80 m illion Americans claim no church affliliation
• another 90 million who claim membership or affiliation don't attend church
• it is obvious that this many people will not be reached by existing congreations

The answer: More churches are needed.
