My Greenlandic Family

Camilla Stephan’s grandmother leaves her home, her country, and moves to Denmark to start a family. 25 years go by before she sees her mother again. Camilla is the granddaughter who in 2006 for the first time visits her relatives – her roots – in the most northern part of Greenland.

As a photo-journalist, Camilla is used to see the world through a camera lens. This is the fascinating and beautiful story of family and culture across boarders told in photographs.
